Education empowers girls and young women
The Malala Fund estimates that around 130 million girls around the world lack the opportunity to attend school, which means that they are forced to work in low-paying jobs and rely on their families for financial support. While this situation is certainly not ideal, education is the key to empowering girls and young women.
